Fishin' for a Cure is a charity with events based in Emerald Isle, NC.  Originally Fishin' for a Cure began with a small group of women who wanted to take their friend, recently diagnosed with breast cancer, fishing.  Overtime the group of supportive friends grew.  The goal of Fishin' for a Cure is to increase funds donated each year to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

(Khaki Shorts Goes Fishing is based on the story of a real dog who "decided" to go fishing.)
